Saturday, April 27, 2013 - At a little soiree, we popped this after a succession of mediocre wines pre dinner. Been about 5 yrs since I last had this. This is drinking pretty nicely, still with the DP style of structure, stems and spice. Some crunchy, tart cherry in a clean, straightforward package. Tannins are present. Do they ever resolve from this producer? Not really complex, but very inviting after some dull, homogenized swill, save for the mag of '05 Trevallon rouge with dinner. One bottle of the Halinard left, likely to be left alone for a few more years.
