A very, very dark brown colour with a yellow rim; bouquet, violets, syrup, from deep down comes some citrus, currents, ripe bitters and all together super, super concentrated. The aftertaste is endless. There are maybe some similarities with PX sherry, but this Vin Santo has a character of its own. Unique, I think. Superb with Dutch cheeses.
