Saturday, January 30, 2010 - The nose on this bottle was a little strange. I thought it was somewhat like a barnyard nose, and my wife thought it was like bacon frying. It did blow off after a while however. This is a screwtop bottle, so it wasn't a cork issue. The palate was very good however, showing cedar, red berries, and a bit of brightness like menthol.
