Monday, August 1, 2011 - Mature, ruby red color. Earthy nose, complex, plum, figs, some glue "velpon". Sweet taste, dark fruit and plums, velvety, still quite some tannins. Tannins are mainly smooth, at the end a bit coarse, however these have mellowed out already wonderfully the last years. Finish is long and beautiful. Needs 1-2 years to smoothen further.
