Sunday, October 16, 2011 - Pretty damn good, which surprised me because I don't care for much else from Clos du Bois (or any industrial-sized CA producer). Fat, plum-y fruit, cedar, tobacco, and a bit of toasted vanilla from the oak. Acidity is there, but not quite enough to really make it food-friendly. It's more of a quaffer... but a very good one. Recommend another 2ish years in the cellar as the tannins need a bit more time to mellow out.
