Friday, December 11, 2009 - When first opened and poured, the nose of Vanilla Cream was commented upon by myself and another in our party. The red fruit, tobacco and musty dust present on the initial attach continued on to the mid palate. The tannins were smooth and sweet, with a great acid balance on the moderate finish. Simply a great wine for the money and a pleasure to drink....I am glad I have more.
