Friday, March 11, 2011 - Popped and poured. Dark, opaque purple with a red rim. Nose of blackberry, fig, licorice, smoke and cedar. Lush, ripe palate of blackberry, hoisin, minerals, menthol, graphite, and some espresso. Outstanding length. Pleasant acidity. Sweet tannins. This wine is peaking!
