Monday, October 11, 2010 - Blackberries, raspberries, cassis, and a touch of chocolate on the nose. Dark, dark fruit on the palate, along with spicy black pepper, leather, and metallic notes. Round mouthfeel, with refined tannins. Nicely balanced. Some chocolate on the finish. The wine reminds me of the olive oil from the same part of Italy...full of spice that hits you a few seconds after you swallow. 89/90
