Saturday, October 17, 2009 - So NEW WORLD it is silly, with massive fruit overshadowed by massive oak in a massive bottle, with little acid or tannin - deep maroon to black , with a nose that is almost wholly oak - smooth, supple mouthfeel, very little acid, flavours of coffee, mocha, roast cherry, oak spices, plum - good length - nice sipper as long as you keep it to one glass only. Enjoyable for what it is. Drink up.
