Sunday, April 25, 2010 - I'll rate this wine safely in the 'good' range. Overall, it's pretty simple and fruity with almost a bubbleguminess (new word for today) profile to the fruit on both the nose and palate. Decent acidity but not much of a finish. Was better with a pizza. I'm not much of a Barbera d'Alba fan to begin with but if you are, then this fits the style well and at $15, not too bad of a deal.
