Wednesday, June 13, 2018 - Drunk at Le Millesime in Chambolle, this bottle travelled about 80 yards directly from the domaine's cellar. A mesmerizing bottle, drunk alongside 1988 Amoureuses, 1983 Musigny and 2006 Musigny. All were in exceptional condition, but this was my favorite. I don't quite know how to say it, other than that it touched me and moved me. Only once before had I felt such an emotion - in 2010 drinking a 1989 Romanee-Conti in magnum, also straight from the cellar.
