Saturday, September 10, 2011 - The 08 CdP's are ready to drink now so I figured why not start with a Pegau. This sets the bar pretty high for an off vintage CdP. Very slight earthy funk on the nose along with leather and dark fruit. the nose developed nicely as the earthiness wore off and the fruit intensified. Light tannins on the palate with raspberry and cherry coming through. This went very well with food. It is well made, nicely balanced.
