Sunday, April 7, 2013 - Mixed bag. Positives: interesting flavor profile with black plum and spice dominating. Surprisingly well structured wine in terms of acid and tannin for an '08. The issue is just an overwhelming dose of brett. Personally, a bit of subtle funk makes a wine more interesitng. This is brett to a distraction. It's simply poor winemaking.
