Saturday, May 24, 2014 - By far my least fave of recent vintages of Pegau, but still a fine wine.

5/24/2014 7:37:00 PM - Have you popped an '11 yet. I haven't but thought the 2008 solid, just not as flamboyant. still a great wine. I am waiting to open the Beaucastel's as I think they drink better with more bottle time.

5/25/2014 9:43:00 PM - Me neither, I haven't touched 9, 10 or 11 or Beaucastel from 06, 07 and 08. I haven'y touched my 07 Pegau either or the Beau's. I prefer them with age. I drank a 07 Clos du Papes with friends 2 year back. Thought it was a hot mess while others raved. I definitely like the age on them too. The 2003 Pegau was one of my favorite bottles a year back or so. Thanks for your thoughts.
