Friday, September 21, 2012 - From a bottle opened the night before. No detailed notes. Had a nice berry driven nose, with black currants, almost cab-like. Palate was loaded with purple fruit, white pepper and spice, vibrant acidity. Lengthy mocha on the finish with loads of pepper and dark fruit. This has integrated nicely , smooth and seamless. Has a touch of "high toned" fruit that I get in higher alcohol wines, but no real heat. Very nice.
