Friday, August 24, 2018 - The 1934 Poyferre followed the 1914 Larose Faure. Fully resolved, but this started with a little funk. Not bretty, just some old/funkyness. Deep, dark black cherry, dark earthy soil, comes up a little short on swallow and finish. This did get a little better with some air, and I rather enjoyed it before it succomed to more air an hour later. Still an awesome wine! 90
