Sunday, October 10, 2010 - Had at dinner, no detailed notes. Drinking well and meeting expectations. Expansive nose with roasted fruits and spice and a little funk. Some heat on the palate, but not too distracting, with fine mostly resolved tannins and enough acidity that this wasn't overwhelmed by food. Probably at peak for my palate, good complexity and overall strong wine in a slighter ripe and high alcohol style.
