Monday, October 30, 2023 - 1959 Domaine Jaboulet-Vercherre Pommard 1er Cru Clos de la Commaraine (gift at a Chevaliers event in Beaune in 2018). Pale ruby, amber edges, some viscosity; red fruit, old leaves, wood nose; low acids; low tannins; decent fruit; short red fruit and wood finish; fades fast, but still has some style. 16.5 UC Davis scale, 91 others.
