Thursday, December 21, 2023 - BSc graduation dinner Mees M. Franssen (Mont Tremblant): Cork was in pristine condition: ~5 mm penetration, elastic. Medium(+) garnet, slow moving tears and only 12.5% abv. Upon opening a distinct barnyard smell that was faded and plum, musk, lead pencil appeared. Dry, medium acidity, medium silky tannin, medium alcohol and body. Palate of black plum, blackberry, cranbery, dark cocoa, savory notes like leather and tobacco. Slightly rustic with some edge. Good length finish, structured and a vibrant finish.
Drink now. At its peak
