Monday, January 3, 2011 - There was smoke on this and, while it was different from the smoked meat often detected on a good wine - this was more like the smell of a burned down house - it was not too unpleasant and it seemed to blow off by day two. Underneath was a nice sour cherry pinot noir with mouth watering acidity and a fine structure. Overall, we quite enjoyed it
