Sunday, January 28, 2018 - I bought this bottle due to its amazing condition. It had a medium yellow center with clear rims. It looked like a 15 year old White Burgundy. The medium intensity nose had a Sauvignon Blanc quality to it with its dried apricot, pear, and minerals.

In the mouth, this wine was refined and was a bit awkward for the first couple hours. Afterward, it showed lovely balance, light acidity and an attractive plush texture in the mouth. The length was subtle but actually pretty long.

While this wine will not blow away a great White Burgundy, it proved beyond doubt the California can make ageworthy white wines.
