Saturday, October 29, 2016 - Wow, you would not guess that this has 22 under its belt or that it is from a bad vintage. Still extremely vivid and bright-fruited with very little signs of age, it seems to have ways to go before reaching maturity. Very much a finesse wine with no extra fat yet most definitely not thin. Slowly opened up in the decanter over two hours before starting to close down. A great match with confit de canard.
