Thursday, March 7, 2013 - Farewell to Josh - the burbs have him now. (L'Artusi Restaurant, West Village, Manhattan): Very old and hanging on. Salty nose with cherry, sardine, and funk (seaweed - Matt). Soft on the palate - funky and tertiary. Blue cheese and cherries. Great acid, fully resolved with earthy notes and stones. A little cherry and sherry in the finish. Nose - 4/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/6 = 16/20.
