Saturday, January 31, 2009 - Double decanted and then took to steak restaurant. Beautiful nose with smells of dried oak leaves, mushrooms, dark fruits, tobacco and chocolate. Very well balanced on the palate. Fruit still holding strong and well concentrated with nice earthiness too. Fine tannins still remain and I would think this wine could continue to last for another few years. I was very impressed with this wine. Not over the top in any way and very harmonious.
