Saturday, July 3, 2010 - The nose of this wine had dark red fruit aromas with a hefty dose of sweet, vanilla oak that just screamed that this was a Foley styled wine. There was also a big dose of VA evident on the nose. The palate had a bit of a tart/medicinal note to the red fruit flavors, but the vanilla came back on the finish. Full bodied with a medium length finish. This is a very big and fruity Syrah.
