Friday, February 1, 2008 - Ripe and rounded flavors of dark cherry, creamy blackberry, mint, tobacco and oak. Finishes with decent length and balance, though again showing a hefty dose of oak. This was really tight upon opening and required quite a bit of time in the decanter to coax out the flavors of the wine. Probably somewhat closed down at this point.
