Friday, July 1, 2011 - (Trattoria Stella, Traverse City) Started off mineral, linear and almost austere. Lime leaves and a little citrus. Unwound and recoiled in intricate patterns over several hours, revealing more classic Ribolla elements but with a solid stone spine. Balanced, intricate yet with a lingering power. Beautiful.
