Sunday, December 17, 2023 - A pristine bottle - perfect fill, perfect cork. Lovely nose again, full of damson plums and rosehip, amid the red cherry and blackcurrant. The attack is fresh and almost primary, amazingly youthful, with ripe blackberry again, before the red fruits kick in, especially the red cherry, but the plums are prominent in the mix too. It's just a really tasty wine.
Not the gravitas of the best, but a great example of Dauzac and a very good example of Margaux in 2000.
