Sunday, October 12, 2014 - Still appears somewhat young, as tannins are still at play. Took 2+ hours to really open up, with nice evolution on both nose and palate. This wine exhibited red fruits, a floral component, leather, and tobacco. It initially had a tart acidic quality that seemed to soften. Not as structured as the 2009 Dauzac, but still delivers a nice experience. Long finish.
