Wednesday, July 3, 2013 - Paper filtered and decanted leaving a coating of medium sediment on the filter and yielding a ruby colored liquor with sweet fresh fruit aromas. This was part of an ongoing Zinfandelicatessen we've been having at home since the doctors allowed me to consume wine again. Been going after the 2001 Zins and Chards to make sure they've survived.

This bottle had an intense flavor profile with spicey undertones and rich red fruits with a hint of cola on the long finish. Generated a significant buzz of flavor on the tongue and left the impression of ripe fruit jam.
