Sunday, December 25, 2011 - Decanted about 2 hours. Meat and black fruit on the nose, with hints of pepper and floral notes. The backend has some leather and red fruit, and just a touch of smoke. Rich and juicy on the palate with ripe tannins and dark fruit. The mid-palate is meaty and spicy, and it finishes with a little smoky leather.
