Thursday, October 6, 2011 - Sampled 10/5/11. After a couple hours of decanting the wine started to open up. It is still very tight and tannic, but what flavors could be pulled were disjointed, slightly bitter and astringent wtih too much Oak. The wine is a bit of a mess right now. It is possible that it will all come together, but I'm thinking not. Maybe an 89 point wine in time at best.
