Friday, April 6, 2012 - Splash decanted. Initially somewhat thin but fleshed out nicely after an hour or so. Fully ripe dark fruits, earthiness, cocoa powder, and balancing spice on the med length finish. Good acidity throughout gives this a juicy personality. Med+ weight, moderate structure, a silky texture, and fine grain tannins that are nicely integrated. Really well balanced and quite delicious, especially with steak. 9th bottle from case.
