Tuesday, November 6, 2012 - Popped and poured. Dark purple color. Nose of cassis, cherry cough drop and dark red fruits along with some strong oak and vanilla aromas and a touch of heat as well. Cassis, black cherry, vanilla, oak, and sweet spices on the palate with a touch of heat on the back end. Medium acid and tannin but finishes short. Overall a solid cab and a good QPR at the price paid.
