As much tropical as tart on the finish but not heavy by any means. It would benefit from more acidity. We tried the 2007 last night and it is lighter and all citrus, mineral and acid. This wine is still sorting itself out and would benefit from more time in bottle. It is fair to say though that it has more weight, more complex fruit, less mineral and less acidity than the previous vintage and that will not change. Really amazingly different. Both fail to impress given their source and price points but for very different reasons.
