Tuesday, July 12, 2016 - From Les Lutenières, a vineyard on the other side of the RN74, in the commune of Vosne-Romanée, but outside the AOC. Very light colour, strawberry red; the nose is transparent, light and clean, cool and pure, flowers and red earth, lean but subtly sweet fruit, just a hint of Asian spice; the palate is pithy and elegant, light but with energetic minerality, bright and lively, very youthful for its eight years of age, cranberry fruit, hint of cream, smooth texture, engaging skin phenolics; good aromatic persistence on the finish, good length. Drinking well with no end in sight.
