Monday, October 26, 2015 - This wine really seems to suit my palate, with a well-balanced display of pure fruit, floral notes and a rustic edge. Fennel, spicy berries and violets on the nose. The fruit emerges more forcefully on the palate, along with evident spice and grippy tannins. A tart element distracts on the finish, costing the wine a point or two, but no real complaints here.
