Tuesday, May 26, 2015 - Decanted 1 hr. ahead off of zero sediment. Ruby-garnet color, tinged with orange. Pleasant nose but a bit closed, with cherry, plum, and a very nice secondary blast that I can only call floral-creosote. Medium-bodied and firm on the palate, not flabby or tart. Drying finish with very light and velvety tannins, more plum/cherry flavors. This wine has repaid the wait: it has both deliciousness and interesting secondary aromas.
