Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - Initially closed. Opens up after about 45 minutes whit gray pear, apple, citrus, some brioche and roasted hazelnuts. Has clearly seen some oak, but the overall impression is fresh and light. Lots of structure/texture on the palate with high acid, more lemon, lots of chalky minerals and somewhat muted fruit. Finishes with some tropical fruits, lemon and chalk. Good to drink today, but will benefit from some more time in the cellar.
