Tuesday, February 3, 2015 - Deep red color. Aromas of black currant, dark chocolate, coffee and wood spices. Ripe, nicely integrated fruit in the mouth with very good depth and excellent length. Surprisingly thick and suave on the palate. I found this 90% Merlot-based wine to be nicely evolved and delicious at this time. Good value for a highly rated 2009 Bordeaux.
