Decanted for 2 hours, upon pulling the cork the room filled with a lovely smell of Bdx and I thought that this wine must have improved since last time I tasted it. However, the experience on the palate did not fully echo what I picked up on the nose here - it certainly showed better then before, but I just felt the fruit is somewhat buried and the wine does feel overworked. I have 10 bottles of the case left and I am somewhat thinking that this wine is just not for me. Fingers crossed it gets better, but I would not hold my breath. I certainly feel RP has been way too generous here...
