Sunday, July 9, 2023 - A quite extraordinary wine. One of the best that I've ever had, and I've had a few. Shows age, with an orange/brownish rim. The nose is out of this world, layer after layer. Mushrooms, sour cherries, leather, earthy, herbs, oriental spice - you name it, and it's bound to show up some time. Depth, persistence, complexity, elegance and harmony. The vintage and producer suggested a lesser wine than this, but this is just amazing! The points are on the parsimonious side.
