Wednesday, May 24, 2017 - The Rotating Dinners, II.1: Rhys, 2008-10 (Chicago, IL): The best of the pinots tonight. There's a good bit of crunchy red fruit on the nose, with a sweet and full palate that veers more towards the black fruit. Neither too acidic, nor too tannic, but hardly exciting either. It seems a little bit shut down or standoffish as well.
