Tuesday, March 31, 2020 - Feels Very odd to be drinking a 2000 Oregon Pinot so many years after ... purchase from winery mailing list, 9/11, retirement, move to sunnier days... (one reason for choosing my retirement spot was seeing delivery of a Beaux Freres at a local restaurant)
well balanced fruit, age, some leaf, will pair well with my quiche. What seems hard to believe is the lack of brown rim - different from aging many subsequent BFs with higher tannin, less fruit. Cork intact, also unlike many later pinots from BF.
