Thursday, May 23, 2019 - Decanted for about 1 hr. Beautiful nose of red fruits and earth. Nice red fruits, earthiness not hugely prominent, some light mint. Tannins integrated with good acidity. In early to mid-maturity. Not hugely complex but very nice burgundy wine. Is it truly grand cru level? No, 1er at best, but this is not past peak and should last for 5-15 years easily. I'll hold my last bottle for at least 5, but probably 10.
