Wednesday, May 14, 2014 - Pop and pour, we shared a bottle over dinner over the course of 90 minutes. This was delicious. On the brownish side of purple, looks older than it is. This wine is energetic. While the fruit is in the background and the earthier elements at the forefront, what fruit is there is vibrant. Perhaps the most striking feature of the wine is the super long peppery finish. This combines great flavor and great mouthfeel. I love it.
