Saturday, January 23, 2016 - This was delicious and probably my top wine of this new year. Dark and ripe showing only a little age on the rim. Nose is very pure with lots of blackcurrant and berry fruit. Palate is so smooth, ripe but well balanced, blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, nice sweetness and a really long fine finish. Excellent wine. Pairing with some grilled lamb chops and Italian style white beans was fantastic. Not sure this has that much upside, if I had another bottle (I don't) I would be drinking soonish.
