Saturday, January 1, 2022 - Better after being opened for 24 hours, but never quite as concentrated or complex as I expected. As others have noted, the nose is full of dried tobacco, black currant, dried cherries, treacle, olive, and red pepper. Again, i found it more expressive on the second day. The palate is smooth and balanced, with the tertiary elements, fruit, acid, and tannin at a comfortable point.
