Sunday, October 2, 2005 - Drank 9/30/05 on board Hypnautic docked in Olympia. Ok, so I'm a novice at this so please don't take this note too seriously. This wine had a deep purple/inky color. Its clarity was cloudy and definately should have been decanted and filtered. The aroma appeared to be simple with a light berry flavor coupled with a tint of oak. The wine was relatively smooth, silky and appeared to have good balance. the finish was moderate showing a crisp, not tart lingering enjoyment. This was a good wine, however not one I'm going to run out and buy more of. Drink now, but decant and filter sediment first.
