Tuesday, September 25, 2012 - Imported by Potomac Selections and bought directly from them during a close out. The cork was saturated to the end and the fill was a centimeter down. The wine was fine, it fact, it was great. No idea why this needed to be closed out unless the fills and saturated corks were previously known. The nose was very floral for a Gevrey but not surprising for Jouan's style. The palate was very smooth with hints of game and underbrush. The finish was mineral and tart. For a 2007, this was very elegant and while light still rich in flavor.
